Today I went down to the back with my mam to put €50 from my birthday money because I got a letter from the Bank of Ireland a few days ago saying that I haven't used my account in ages and that if I activated my account again (put money in it), I would receive 2 free cinema tickets in the post within 2 months. I thought that was good but they were kind of bribing young people with free cinema tickets if they opened their accounts again. I didn't care, FREE TICKETS!!! I love things that are free. I already knew what the tickets were going to be used for. I was going to take Brian to the cinema in Liffey Valley to see The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II which is the last of the Twilight movies. I couldn't wait and Brian got the exact same letter so I knew that when he came home, I would tell him to put even €10 and then he would get free tickets too.
I think for the rest of the day I hung out with Rachel and Amanda in Katie's house because she was back home from Portugal. For the night we just went on her computer and had some girly fun <3

August 7th 2012
Today I planned to go out to Alex, I met up with her at the playground or something and then we went to Daybreak down at "Vivo", got some food and then walked back up to the top of her estate and we sat under a tree there and just talked. I was having fun and I was glad that we were back talking again because she is so funny and I can talk to her about anything, she is just that type of person. A little while later we saw Chris Gannon and she invited him over to sit with us, all was good until he took out some cigarettes and started smoking in front of us. I don't think Alex minded but I felt a bit uncomfortable sitting with him. I persevered though :)
About 20 minutes later there was a few young children aged between about 11 and 13 years old that came over to us and said "Do you have any skins?" I didn't know what they were talking about and they left because Chris said no. Skins are apparently the things that you wrap around the tobacco to make a "rollie". I was a taken back because they were so young and they were already smoking. I think it is disgusting and for people so young as 11 years old to be doing it just horrified me that someday my children could be smoking when they're like 8 years old.
At about half 8 I walked home because I was a bit tired. I just went straight to bed at about 9pm but I was woke up by alarms and I looked out my window and my estate was in darkness because the electricity went. It was scary and I couldn't even turn my light on and I was just had to go back to bed and try go back to sleep which I couldn't because there was about 200 alarms going off and dogs barking out back garden's but I was happy to know that when I woke up the electricity was back. Phewww!!!

Today Brian went to Spain and I was upset that I wasn't going to be able to see him everyday and talk to him everyday. My family had planned to go on a car drive up to Northern Ireland to go to The Giant's Causeway. I thought it would be fun so I decided to go too. It was a long drive though and my mam was showing us where the border was, the only way we knew that we were in Northern Ireland was the colour of the road lines were different. When we got there and paid and stuff, we went in and we had these talking phone things that explained like the history part of the tour. We walked down a steep hill, took some pictures and then went over to the famous "Giant's Causeway". There was about 300 hundred people on it so we just took our time because we weren't in a rush. I thought it was really cool and I was enjoying myself and we were standing out on the walkway and we took loads of pictures and then we started walking up the mountain, I thought we just came her to look at the famous landmark and then leave. NO!!! We started hiking up the mountain which took about 1 hour and I felt at one point that my heart was going to jump out of my body. We made it to the top with great difficulty and then we walked over to the edge of the cliff and had a look and then took loads more photos.
My dad had a good idea for a picture, he got my mam to lie down on the edge of the cliff so he could get the giant's causeway in the background, then he said "Can you move back a bit?". My mam did and then it registered in the brain that she was on the edge of the cliff and they both started laughing, then we all did and the other people that were on the cliff with us. Here is that picture below and more of the pictures we took that day.

When we were finished hiking up mountains, we went back to the center and had a look in the exhibition which was really interesting and we looked in the shop and then walked back to the car and had some of the food which my mam packed for us. We had some nice rolls, cakes and crisps because we were starving from using all our energy on the hike. It was a good day anyway but I don't think I would be able to do that ever again because it was too much for me.
August 4th 2012
Today it was Brian's last day before he went on his holidays to Spain. I woke up and went on the computer and just went on YouTube and Facebook. A little while later my mam and dad came into me and said they were going to Argos to bring Dean's television back because the DVD part of it didn't work so when they found the receipt they left. About an hour later they came back with a brand new television, I was a bit shocked because Dean's television was a small 16" for €125 bit the new one was a 22" for €189 but it was reduced to €115. They also got a €10 voucher for Argos so it was a good deal.
I stayed in for most of the day because Brian was packing so we just decided to go out in the evening. I just really listened to music in my room and went on the internet until about 7pm.
Brian knocked for me at 7pm and then we walked up to Brian's estate and we were going to hang out with his friends but hey told Brian to hang out with me on his last day. I got really emotional and started crying. Brian came over and hugged me and tried to get me to stop crying. We walked around Celbridge for the rest of the day and just talked. I didn't want him to go because I couldn't bare not to be near him. We walked down to Tesco and then we walked through Vanessa Lawns and out the other side. I broke down about 3 times on the way and I couldn't stop crying but Brian held me and squeezed me really tight until I stopped crying. Brian said that he would text me before he gets on the plane and when he lands in Spain so I was happy. We he left me at my house I started to cry again and when I went into my house I just went to bed and cried myself to sleep :(

Today me and Brian planned to spend the day together. When I went up to his house, his mam said that he was out with his friends. I was a bit confused because I wanted to spend the day with him but he wanted to spend the last few days with his friends and gorgeous girlfriend :P
I understood that but I was upset because I really wanted him to hang out with me. I started getting angry so I decided to walk off and cool down. About an hour later Brian and his friends came to Brian's house where I was sitting and made me cheer up. Brian's friends walked back to the little green and Brian stayed with me and we made up, we kissed a good few times, he said sorry and we went into his house. We stayed there for a few hours and then we went back out to his friends. We were only outside for about an hour because it was time to go home for me.

August 2nd 2012
Today Brian knocked for me at about 2pm and I had planned for us to spend the day at Castletown and bring food and have a nice day out just relaxing and having fun. He and I walked down to Tesco and we got some drinks and a pack of Haribo's and we walked down to the village and up to the post office because he needed to get his holiday money out and post some letters after he put the stamps on them. We started to walk up to Castletown and then went out to the back lawns. We found a nice place to sit and we sat on the 2 blankets which I brought. We started eating and drinking our food and we just relaxed for about 5 minutes. Brian then had a phone-call from his mam and she was giving out to him because he didn't bring his holiday money home straight after he got it and she was furious and she told him to go home straight away and he wasn't allowed to come back out. I was angry and upset that we weren't going to have our day out together but I did feel party responsible because I was the one who said "Bring the money home later, It'll be okay". I felt sad so I just packed up all the stuff I brought and left. I started walking towards main street which was about a 20 minute walk. Me and Brian had a bit of an argument but then we made up and I walked him up to his house. He went in with his money and spoke to his mam and then he came back out and said that he was allowed back out and said that his mam just threatened him because he had all his money with him and she said that people get mugged for €10 let alone €200.
We walked over to the little green and sat on the blankets and listened to music on Brian's phone and took some pictures but then it started raining so we headed back to Brian's house and ended up sitting in the porch and played monopoly. We played it for about 3 hours but I would've won anyway because I had more properties. We then went into Brian's house and had some dinner. I love eating in Brian's house because Karen always knows what I like which is cool. We had chicken goujons and chips with yummy curry sauce. It was much better than vegetables that I would've got at home. After dinner we decided to pack up the game of monopoly and hang out in his house while listening to music and take funny pictures. A little while later we decided to go out and play with a football on the road. It was about 8.45pm and we stayed outside until my dad collected me at 11pm. It was surprisingly warm outside and Brian was working up a sweat because I had him running all over the place. I did kick the ball really high towards him and it went out onto the road. I didn't mean to but Brian ran out after it and kicked it back over. That was a lot of fun and Brian even said that I was really good at kicking a ball. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
