Tomorrow I am going on holiday to England. Every couple of years my family decide to go to Blackpool because my mam is the only one that likes the sun and we love the atmosphere in Blackpool and the theme park there. Over the last couple of weeks it hasn't really clicked that I am going to one of my favourite holiday destinations but I am going away tomorrow. For every holiday my family go on is always hectic on the day before we go away. With my dad in work and my brother sick, me and my mam have to get everything ready. My mam woke me up at about 10am and the first thing I did was get my clothes ready, I had to sort out what clothes I would be bringing to England. My mam drove my brother down to the village because she was going to bring him to the doctors because he wasn't well. When they came back my mam said that he has a virus in his eyes which is affecting his whole system, hence why he had a cough and cold. She also said that Dean had constipation, so she had to pay out 80euro on visiting the doctor and getting the medicine that he told my mam to get. I did loads of things today, here's some that I did:
-Ironed my clothes that were coming on holiday with me.
-Hoovered the car, the stairs and downstairs.
-Hand washed clothes.
-Hung out washing.
-Put over 200 songs on my Ipod.
-Dried washing (plates, cutlery)
-Put my bedclothes on my bed
-Got all my clothes that I am bringing ready.
-Helped pack the suitcases.
-Helped my mam with little jobs.
It doesn't look like I did a lot today but it felt like I did loads. Coming up to about 4pm my mam helped me sort my clothes out and then she started packing the suitcases. I got in the shower and washed my hair and then I started getting my bags packed. I think I'm bring 2 bags with me, 1 for on the boat and 1 that I can leave in the car. Throughout the day I made sure that my Ipod, Ipad, Nintendo and mobile phone were charging so their batteries would be full for on the boat. After that I had my dinner, my mam made one of my favourite dinners; chicken-in-a-bag, roast potatoes and beans. the chicken was absolutely gorgeous and I ate all of it. Seeing as Dean is sick, he didn't really eat anything so I ate his chicken. I know he's sick but he wasn't eating it and it's a mortal sin to leave nice chicken on a plate and let it go to waste. Brian called to my house at 8pm and then we went out.
We went to Tesco and got some food and then hung out there for a bit and then we went for a walk up to the playground and then up towards Brian's house. My mam said that I had to be home for 10.30pm because I have to get up at 6am tomorrow. Me and Brian were just talking and then he walked me home, it was raining but he had an umbrella. I was really upset tonight with him because I wouldn't see him for 10 days and that made me sad. Even when he walked me to my door, and he was hugging me and kissing me I couldn't hide my tears. He wiped them away and told me that he would text me everyday and call me tomorrow morning when I'm on the boat. It took him a few minutes to console me and then we said our last goodbyes and the last thing he said to me was "Night night sweetheart"

June 27th 2012
Today I made plans with Amanda and Katie to hang out with them because I was going away in 2 days. I went over to Katie's house at about 3.15pm and then Amanda cam over at about 3.30pm. This was the first time I had seen Amanda from when she came back from her 3 days trip to Spain a few days ago because she wasn't really feeling well. We all went into Katie's sitting room with the laptop because Katie's cleaner was in the kitchen. We went on different websites and had a lot of fun really. I had to be home for 6.30pm though because Dean's 6th class graduation ceremony was on that night. I came home, got dressed and my family walked around to Dean's primary school. When we walked into the hall there was a few families there and my mam wanted to sit up the front. I don't really mind where we sit but my dad hates sitting up the front even in church we have to sit 3 or 4 seats back. The hall had a table where the priest would say a few words. All the 6th class boys were sitting to our left in the corner where they would be singing their songs. Mr King, the school principal said a few words and then the service went on forages and then the boys were given a certificate and a medal and pen. We then watched a presentation which was a collage of pictures of all the boys when they were younger, some were embarrasing for the boys and some were funny and some were memorable.
When it was over, my mam, dad and Dean were going to go get some food that was on the table after the ceremony but I left and started walking back up to Katie's house. When I got there and I went in Amanda and Katie were doing each others make-up and hair. They were on the laptop. STILL!!! Amanda did my make-up as well, she made my eye shadow like a purple colour and my lips were RED. For the rest of the night we were just messing on the laptop and listening to music and playing Truth or Dare on Katie's internet tablet which is like mine but smaller. I had a lot of fun that night and it was nice to have so much fun with my friends. Everytime I hang out with either Amanda, Rachel or Katie I feel I am getting closer to them and our friendship is growing stronger.
My dad had said before I left Dean's graduation that I could stay out till 11.15pm :P Me and Amanda were going to walk home at that time but it was lashing raining. She had planned with her sister Sarah that she would drive us home at 11.00pm. We went out to Katie's front door and waited and waited and waited and waited. Still no sign of Sarah at 11.20pm. I was getting scared that my dad would give out to me so Amanda let me ring him on her phone. He said that it was fine if I was late as long I was with Amanda. I eventually got home at 11.40pm. Next time I think I will walk home in the rain rather than being late.

Today me and my mam were going to visit my nanny in Cherry Orchard Hospital. We got a 67 bus to Palmerstown and then an 18 bus to the entrance of Cherry Orchard Hospital. I hadn't visited my nanny in a long time because she was really sick. My nanny has dementia and alzheimer's. She is now 85 and she gets treated like a baby because she has to be fed, washed and many other things. When we went up there she was in a room with about 6 other people with the same illness and they were just sitting on chairs in a trance. It looked creepy and there was a smell of old people. We were with her for about 1.30hr and she was sitting there like a baby would and if we said something she would just say "WHAT?!" I felt sorry for my mam because I'd say it would be hard for anybody to see their mother like that.
There was 1 woman who was going around banging on walls and the rest of them were snoring. I even got upset at one stage because where these people were living and how they were living was really not how you would like to live. I know I wouldn't like to see my mam like that or my children to see me like that. My nanny was okay but she changes really quickly, like one minute she's really nice and then she changes and becomes really snappy and won't let anyone talk to her or touch her and she basically turns into a bitch and she gets violent too. I felt really sorry for my mam because my mam was trying to hold my nanny's hand and she tried to hit my mam. Lucky my mam ducked but if my nanny did hit her, it would've been hard because she had so much power in her hand when she went to hit my mam. My mam got upset and then we left. We got the bus into town and then home.
I think after that I just hung out with Brian until I had to be home for 11pm. We just hung out in Brian's estate and then me, Brian and his friends went down to Spar to get food. Me and Brian left because he was going to walk me home earlier. We walked through St. Raphael's and hung out there for a little while, messing and taking pictures and talking. I really do have so much fun with him and then we had like 1 hour to go before I had to be home and we went back over to the little green where Brian's friends were. We hopped over the wall between St. Raphael's and Grattan Court. Me and Brian just sat on the high wall for a while talking to his friends and then when it was coming towards 10.40 we jumped off the wall onto the main road and Brian walked me home. It was a good day all in all.

June 24th - 25th 2012
On Sunday I just hung out with Brian and his friends for the day. It generally is fun because the guys just play football and then I just sit on the grass or something. I think most of Brian's friends were there and they played football and then I think we went down to Spar to buy some food. I think when Brian went in for his dinner, I went in with him and then we didn't come out again until I had to go home. I think Brian walked me home that night.
On Monday I think me, Rachel and Katie hung out in Katie's house for a while. We went there and just had fun on her laptop for a few hours, but when Rachel had to go home at 9.30pm, I went with her because I was going to go up to hang out with Brian for a while. I think we just went to Spar and then we walked through St. Raphael's, hung out there for a little while and then Brian walked me home.

Today I went out with Brian. I think we went into Castletown forest again and just went for a walk there and then ended up walking up towards his house and on the way we met up with his mam, she drove us up to Brian's house and I hung out there for the rest of the night. When I'm in Brian's house, we usually just watch a movie, watch television or mess and listen to music on his computer.
On this nice Saturday night, I was watching a football match with his family. A part of me wishes that football never existed because I just don't understand it, I had to jeep asking Brian what was happening when they stopped playing. It was an okay evening and then Brian's mam said they were getting a take-away and asked me if I wanted something. She got me a battered sausage and chips which was really nice and I enjoyed it and we watched the second part of the match. Me and Brian just hung out in the kitchen for the rest of the night and then I think Brian walked me home.

On Friday, when me and my mam dropped Dean off at school we walked down to the village to get a bus into town. When we got there, we went into a small hair salon because we were both going to get our hair cut. It has been years since I got my hair professionally cut, I usually just cut it myself. I didn't want to get loads cut off because I like my hairs length at the minute. Even though everybody in the salon was foreign I liked the length of my hair afterwards. The receptionist told my mam that the price of my hair and my mams hair 15euro each but a different guy said that it was going to be 20euro each, but my mam was refusing to pay that so after the misunderstanding he let us pay 15euro each.
After that we went into a few shops in the Ilac looking for some new clothes for my holidays. I tried on many different things but I either didn't like them or they were too expensive. My budget was 25euro so I wanted to get a good few tops and maybe a pair of shorts. After looking in what it felt to be every shop in Dublin we went into Penny's and I was ready for the hunt. Penny's was all changed, it had like these see-through, blue lifts which were cool.
After being in Penny's for about an hour, I got about 4 nice tops,a pair of black shorts, 2 bra's and some underwear. My mam gave me some money because the price of my clothes were 29euro. That is why I love shopping with my mam, she buys me loads if things. My mam also got some things for my dad and Dean and she got some underwear too, we went to McDonald's afterwards and it was packed but we were starving. I went upstairs and I got a table and then when my mam came upstairs, she only had my meal which was odd. Apparently you could only use 1 voucher per transaction which was stupid. I started eating in a different seat and then my mam went down to get her meal. We took our time eating and then we walked to get the bus home.
The bus home was long and my brother was home before us, lucky he had a key. We got some things in Tesco and my mam went into Walsh's pharmacy to try get a present for Dean's 6th class teacher, Mr Heffernan. She got one and then we walked home. I was knackered and had to sit down. Later on in the night I went to The Mill and collected Rachel from kick-boxing. We walked up to Spar and sat in there for a while and then I walked her home and then I was talking to Brian for a few minutes and then I just went home because I was really tired.

Today I had planned to go over to Brian's house to watch some movies. I brought over Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, 13 going on 30 and Mean girls. We watched Mean Girls first and we sat in Brian's sitting room and I was surprised that Brian sat through the whole movie because it was a chick flick. After that movie, I put on 13 going on 30 which I haven't seen in about 3 years. I could tell Brian was really enjoying it because when I tried to talk to him he would say "Shh, I wanna see this bit" When Brian was getting his dinner, I was offered some too, but I had already had my dinner so I said no thanks to Brian's mam. For the rest of the night we sat watching the end of the movie and then I went home. It was a really fun day and I had a lot of fun with Brian and I was glad that me and him had a good time.

Today it was Amanda's 17th Birthday but she wasn't even going to be here because she was going to Spain for 3 days with her dad because he had to do work over there. So me and Rachel were going to go over to her house at about 1pm to hang out with her until she left and to wish her a happy birthday. I wrapped her presents before I left and headed for her house. She looked beautiful because she had her make-up on really nice and her hair was perfect as always and she was wearing like this bright, colourful shirt that felt like viol. I was up in her bedroom with her, Rachel, Harry and Sarah and I gave her her presents and she opened them and she hugged me and thanked me. I knew that she would love them; best friend instinct :L I also gave her a poly-pocket which had a page which I made for her. There was a picture of me and her in the middle of it and like pictures and quotes of things we usually say. She loved it and hugged me again.
We went downstairs to show her mam the presents and then we went into the kitchen. Amanda got 3 small birthday cakes so she opened 1 of them for us. It was yummy and full of chocolate. We dug in and I probably ate the most and they were laughing at me. I left at about 2pm because I needed to go home to get ready to go out. I got ready and Brian called for me at 3pm and then we went up towards the playground. We ended up going over to the new newsagents opposite Agard's. We walked back to the playground and waited for Alex, she got to the playground at about 3.40 and then we walked over to Tesco where we were going to meet Jamie. I was really excited for Alex because I really wanted her and Jamie to get together because they would look cute together. Jamie was supposed to be getting dropped off at Tesco at 4pm but he was a no show, Brian called him and texted him but he wouldn't answer.
Alex ended up leaving because she was fed up of waiting for him and I had to be home for 6pm so me and Brian went towards Castletown. We walked through the forest and out through back lawns and out into Castletown and we walked back towards my house because it was coming up to about 6pm. I asked could Brian come in and wait for me while I was eating but my mam had made loads of dinner so Brian had some dinner too. We had Spaghetti Bolognese with chips and garlic bread. After that we didn't really want to go out so me and Brian started watching Mrs Brown's Boys. We watched the whole DVD and me and Brian were breaking our hearts laughing. We had fun and then when it was coming up to 11pm my dad drove Brian home.

Today I had planned to go over to Katie's house to hang out with her and Rachel for the day. When I went over, Rachel was already there and then we started listening to music and then we went down to Tesco. When we were down there, Katie bought 2 bottles of Coca Cola which were 2 for 3euro and then she got 2 packs of Doritos which were like 3 euro too. We headed back to her house and then went on the internet. We went on loads of different sites and after a few hours, Rachel had to go home for her dinner so she left and then me and Katie stayed on the laptop for another few hours and then when Rachel was done with her dinner we were going to meet up with her and then go back into Katie's. For the rest of the night me, Rachel and Katie hung out in Katie's room on her laptop and we ate some food and just had fun. It was a really fun, girl day and it would've been a better day if Amanda was there.

Today it was a really nice day and I had plans to go out with Brian, Jamie Thunder, James Roche, Alex Donnelly. I was going to meet Alex up at the top of her estate at 3.30pm. When I went up to her we walked down towards Londis opposite ALDI. We got some food and we started walking towards the playground to meet Jamie Thunder and James Roche because before I met up with Alex, Jamie called me asking where I was so we went there and met them and then we started walking up towards Grattan Court to call for Brian. When Brian came out we walked down towards Spar and we hung out there for about 30 minutes and then we made our way down to the village. We ended up going to Castletown and going for a mad long walk and my legs were absolutely killing me. We were walking along the river and even though it was raining we had to walk back up to the entrance because Jamie's mam was in the car waiting for him there. After that we started walking up towards Alex's because she was going to go in, we said goodbye to James at the Castletown entrance near Beaty Park. Alex was talking to me on the up near ALDI and she said that she might like Jamie. I was happy for her and I couldn't believe it and I told her that I would talk to him about her to see if he liked her.

Today I don't think I did anything but hang out with Brian. I think he hung out with his friends for a while and then I think we went into his house and we had dinner. We had 2 little fillet of steak and some chips smothered in peppered sauce. I watched a match with his family and then me and Brian just went onto his computer and stayed there for the rest of the night and then I went home at 11pm.

Today me and my mam were going to drive to Liffey Valley to bring back a pair of white full length trousers that she bought. When she brought them home after she bought them, they still had the security tag on them so we went to get that taken off. My mam was a bit nervous about driving to Liffey Valley because it was her first time in ages but I knew she could do it. After we got the security tag removed, we looked around a few shops to see whether or not I could get come new clothes for my holiday. I went into Dunnes and was looking at some clothes but they were all so expensive so I decided to wait until Friday when me and my mam were going into town to get my clothes in Penny's. We then left and then we drived to Ballyfermot which was even further and she was going to leave the car in Liffey Valley car park and get a bud to Ballyfermot but I told her to just drive that should would be fine, and she was. We went for a walk along the road where all the shops were, we went into loads of shops, and then I ended up buying this fancy top. It had the American Flag design on it and you would have to wear it with a high wasted skirt and it was only 5euro. When we were leaving we got some cakes and then we left for home.
We flew home because on the motorway where the speed limit is 120k/h, my mam was doing 140k/h. She was whizzing along and it didn't even feel like we were going that fast because the car has cruise control or something. We went home and got some food and then I got ready because I was going to go out with my friends in the afternoon. I can't really remember who met up with who first but me, Amanda and Rachel went over to Katie's house and we hung out there for a little while. We just listened to music and went on her laptop on different sites and just messed really. June 15th 2012
Today was the day I was going down to HUBU salon. I was so looking forward to it because I was on a high all week. I was going to go down at 12pm so me and my mam went shopping at about 9.30am. We drive to ALDI, LIDL and Tesco and we got loads of food and the cost was about 90euro. When we came home and unpacked everything, I got some food and went upstairs to start getting ready. I wanted to look nice but ready for work so I had trousers, flat shoes and my hair was up and really nice. My mam had to get something in ALDI so she drove me to the Tesco car park on the way. I went into Tesco to get some chewing gum and the place was packed. I was in and out in about 5 minutes so I went straight to HUBU and asked for Lisa and she came over and started talking to me.
I was literally rejected and I felt sad and embarrassed because Tony sad that it would be grand but Lisa said that I was not allowed to work on the premises without insurance if I was doing the experience through the school. I was heartbroken because if that was a rule then why didn't Tony just tell me that on Monday when I went down. I didn't know what to do so I just started to walk up towards ALDI and my tears just flew from my eyes and I knew that my make-up would be ruined. I was at the entrance of Beaty Park and I saw my mam in the car, she drove up to the entrance of Castletown and I walked up and got in. I told her what happened and she sounded angry that I was made a fool of. She wanted to go into the salon to talk to Lisa but I didn't want my mam fighting my battles so we just went home.
Later on my dad was talking to my mam on the phone and he was saying that when I was in the salon for my TY work experience and when I went there on Fridays and Saturdays that he felt like they were using me. I agreed because when I was there I hurt my back and my hands were so dry and hurt me. I decided that when I go back to school I will talk to Mr. Corcoran and then he can tell me how I can get insurance and different ways around it. For now I will just enjoy my summer because I am now going into 6th year so it is really my last official 3 month holiday so I may as well enjoy it and I will be going on holiday in 5 days time so that is something to look forward to.
At about 3pm I went up to Grattan Court and Brian said that he and his friends were down in the village getting their hairs cut so I decided to just hang out on the green while I waited. I was listening to music on my Ipad and it was such a hot day, I was wearing 3/4 length jeans and a vest top. When Brian eventually arrived he sat on the grass beside me and then his friends Tom and Andy came over. We didn't do much but hang out on the grass and talk. More of Brian's friends came over to us and we played some football for a while, well they did, I watched. After a while me and Brian went into Brian's house. We hung out in his porch because nobody was in his house. We did go into the house to look for a game, we went upstairs to the spare bedroom and looked under a bed and there was loads of different board games so we got monopoly and brought it back down to the porch and started to play it. We didn't get to play a lot because it was coming near to 10.30pm so we packed it away. We hung out with Brian's friends for about 15 - 20 minutes and then Brian walked me home :)
I was literally rejected and I felt sad and embarrassed because Tony sad that it would be grand but Lisa said that I was not allowed to work on the premises without insurance if I was doing the experience through the school. I was heartbroken because if that was a rule then why didn't Tony just tell me that on Monday when I went down. I didn't know what to do so I just started to walk up towards ALDI and my tears just flew from my eyes and I knew that my make-up would be ruined. I was at the entrance of Beaty Park and I saw my mam in the car, she drove up to the entrance of Castletown and I walked up and got in. I told her what happened and she sounded angry that I was made a fool of. She wanted to go into the salon to talk to Lisa but I didn't want my mam fighting my battles so we just went home.

June 14th 2012
Today I planned to go over to Brian's house to watch a football match. I went over to his house at about 4pm. I got my dinner before I went out, I had a fillet of breaded chicken, which I love, beans and mashed potatoes. It was yummy. When I went over Brian's mam was out visiting Brian's grand-dad in hospital and his dad was asleep. I brought over my Ipad and we were looking at some of the apps that I downloaded on it and I downloaded more. Some of them were so funny especially the ones that made your voice sound high pitched or deep. There was one that we were playing with and Brian couldn't stop laughing because it was so funny. It was a virtual cat which repeated everything you said and made your voice high pitched. When it repeated what I said, I sounded like a chipmunk but when Brian said something, it made him sound normal which bugged me.
We decided to watch a movie until the match came on at 5pm. I brought over the movie "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging", we only got to watch about 30 minutes because Brian's mam and dad came into the room to sit down and watch the match. The four of us were sitting in the sitting room watching the match for 90 minutes. Italy and Croatia were playing and it was a very eventful match with people getting hurt left, right and center. After a while Brian's dad had to go to work because he work's night shifts in Guinness. In the end both teams got 1 goal each.
While we were waiting for the other match to come on, we were playing with my Ipad with the talking cat that repeats everything that you say. Brian's mam didn't know what we were doing because it sounded like we were sucking helium out of a balloon. She couldn't stop laughing and later on during the other match she put on some food for us. After the match, me and Brian went into the kitchen to listen to music and to play again with the cat on my Ipad. It was a good way to end the perfect night. At about 10.50 Brian's mam drived me home.

June 12th - 13th 2012
On Tuesday I didn't really do anything and I decided to stay at rather than going out with Brian or my friends. Nothing really happened that day apart from a man coming to the house to install a new gas meter because our old one was faulty.
On Wednesday, it was Brian's Theory Test. He had the test at 9.45am and when I woke up I got a test from him saying that he failed it. I was upset for him and I couldn't wait to see him so I could make him feel better. I went over to his house at about 3pm and he was telling me how he had 45 minutes to answer 40 questions and if you got over 35 of the questions correct, you passed. He told me that he only got 28/40 which wasn't good enough for him to pass it. He said he was going to do it again but I thought that if you had to pay 45euro to do a theory test, you may as well get it right the first time. Despite Brian having money to pay for the expensive luxury that is a car, I think I am going to wait until I am about 19 or 20 years old before I do my theory test and buy a car. For now, I can walk and get the bus and that's what your parents are for :L

Today was the day that I was going to go down to Hubu Salon down by Tesco to inquire about unpaid work experience. I was nervous but I had a good feeling because I worked with the owner Tony before on my T.Y work experience and he was really nice and he helped me understand loads about being a hairdresser. I got all dressed up and made my way down to the hair salon at about 1pm, when I went in there Tony recognized me and I was pleased that he was happy to see me. I was telling him how that seeing as im nearly 17 years old that I was looking for some more experience and I made it clear that I did not want to be paid. After saying my piece, he seemed really happy and wanted to help me out so he told me to come in on Friday and his wife Lisa would be there and then she could go through some of the things I did before when I was there.
I was really happy and I couldn't wait for Friday, I was in such a good mood and I went home and told my mam the good news. She was so delighted and my whole family were building me up saying "They could ask you to come back on the following Monday"

I didn't mind because I brought my Ipad, pages and coloured pencils. It was a really nice day and it was hot so I wore like 3/4 length jeans with a vest top and sunglasses. Brian arrived at about 4pm on his own and said 2 Andy O'Reilly and Tom Cavanagh were gone to call for Michael and Craig Lee and Lee Donahue were still at the barbers. We hung out on the green for a little while and the boys took an interest in my Ipad and were playing games on it but then put a password on it which I still haven't taken off. Brian wasn't really in the mood for playing football so when Craig Lee and Lee McGinley arrived an everyone was going onto the green to play football, he told them that we were going in to his house.
We stead in Brian's house for the rest of the night and we were in the kitchen listening to music and lying on the floor drawing. It was fun and then I was offered food, which I never know what to say; do I say yes but then they'll probably think I'm taking advantage but if I said no then they'll probably think that I don't like their food or that I'm rude. We all had 2 burgers which were really nice. For the rest of the night we were in the kitchen listening to music and we made this picture where it had mine and Brian's hands with a heart in the middle. It took me ages to colour them in but I didn't mind I was having fun. Brian was drawing on another pages loads of funny pictures and he seemed to be having fun. During that night I also set Brian up on Skype so we can talk to each other on it and go on the webcam to talk as well. The night was really fun and I loved spending time with him that day.

June 10th 2012
Today was going to be a fun day because me and Brian planned to go to the family fun day in Scoil Na Mainistreach.It started at 2pm so Brian came to my house at 1:30pm. My family were going to and I found out that Rachel's family were going too. My mam wanted me to wear something green because it was the day that Ireland would be playing against Croatia in Poland for Euro 2012. I wore a green t-shirt, that my mam got be for St. Patrick's Day last year which I have never worn, black leggings and white converse. When I was putting on my make-up, I put on some green eye shadow as well. Brian was waiting downstairs for me and my mam and dad were talking to him preventing him from getting bored while I was finishing getting ready. My dad gave me some money and then we headed for the school. Me and Brian left before my family because my family still weren't ready.
When we got there, there was people from St. John's Ambulance outside. We could see my family walking towards the school so we went for a little walk around, we went into the hall and there was different stands with prizes that you could win. We were talking to one of Brian's teachers for about 5 minutes then we went outside. There was things like face painting and hook a duck, me and Brian thought it was very kiddie so we decided to leave but before we did my mam came over to us with 6 bottles of Budweiser which she won. She had to put them all in her bag because she didn't want people to see, we were all in bits laughing.
We left and made our way down to Tesco and there we got some sweets and drinks and then we went back to my house. My family were still at the family fun day and me and Brian were listening to music and munching into our food. When my family came home, they were showing me and Brian what they got. They won a bottle of wine and the 6 bottles of Budweiser. My brother bought DVD's and a book and my dad bought some DVD's. They also bought some cakes and cookies. They had fun but I don't think me and Brian would've likened to be there. Coming to about 5pm we were all sitting down in the sitting room ready to watch the match between Spain and Italy. They both scored one goal in the end.
At some time throughout the night my mam made loads of food. She made like a buffet sort of dinner. I love them because there is always so much food which I love. Brian was surprised to see so much food and we all dug in. I just ate the usual; mini pizzas, wedges, cocktail sausages and chicken goujons. It was so nice and Brian really enjoyed himself.
When it was coming up to 7:45, when we were all finished our feast we sat back and relaxed and watch the match between Ireland and Croatia. We lost! We didn't even try because the score was 3-1 to Croatia. The defenders were rubbish and couldn't keep the ball for long without giving it foolishly away to the other team. Brian had a good time and at 11pm my dad drove Brian home.

Today was the day of Brian's BBQ. I was really excited because I love a good barbecue me, but I was nervous because I would be meeting Brian's family for the first time. I woke up really early so that I could hop in the shower and wash my hair. I knew it would take me a good few hours to get ready so I made sure that I had all of my hair accessories and jewellery out. When I was finished straightening my hair, my mam came upstairs to put some tan on me because it was going to be a nice day and my dress had no straps, so my chest would be exposed and I didn't want to be as white as snow. I started to get dressed and I was wearing black leggings, my black shoes that my mam bought me yesterday and my black and white flowery dress. I made sure my hair and make-up looked really nice and got my bag and small black coat and my mam drived me up to Brian's house.
He said people would be arriving at 2pm so I said I would go up at about 1:30 to help Brian's mam and dad with the BBQ. When I went into his house I asked did they need help and they said "No, not at the minute" Brian was already dressed so we went into his sitting room and watched some television. When people started to arrive, I was so nervous and then after a while we went into the kitchen to get a drink and then as more people were arriving, me and Brian were helping his mam and dad with things like getting the table set and making sure people had enough drink.
His family seemed to be really nice and everybody knew that I was Brian's girlfriend so they were sort of teasing him to try embarrass him so I thought that was funny. There was about 20-25 people there including the little children. Me and Brian were allowed have an alcoholic drink so Brian had a bottle of Coors light and I had a can on Budweiser. There was so much food, it was unreal. There was a table full of healthy and unhealthy food. There was about 100 burgers, chicken pieces, ribs, hot dog's, buns for burgers and hot dog's, salads, and different sauces. Brian's mam didn't want to have to do any washing up so there was polystyrene plates, knives and forks. There was a big rubber basket out the back garden full of water and ice and different kinds of alcoholic drinks. Out the back garden there was 2 sets of garden furniture, one wooden and one plastic and there was a bench for the children.
I ate about 2 burgers and loads of the chicken pieces and I was having fun until one of Brian's cousin started to play rough with me and started throwing things at me and Brian but Brian kicked him so I was reassured. I suppose he just wanted to have fun and he's a child so I didn't really care. His mam and the mam of the boy who was throwing stuff at me gave out to him and asked me was I okay. I didn't want Brian's family to think I was a crybaby so I just behaved like I was an adult.
The day was a success and I had fun and Brian had fun and at about 10:40 Brian walked be home which was nice of him, he said he loves doing it so I let him :P

Today Dean didn't go to school because my mam thought it would be best for him to stay at home and because it was Friday. My mam woke me at about 9.30am to tell me that she was going shopping which was a very bad decision because I don't like to be woken up prematurely. I just hung out in my bedroom until about 1pm when my mam was back from doing the shopping and all the shopping was put away because I absolutely hate putting away the shopping. I was like one of them trolls on Facebook hiding away in my bedroom secretly watching television, when my mam probably thought I was still asleep.
I was on the computer and my mam asked me did I want to see a movie. I'm not one for watching movies with my family because they are always gay ones. My mam told me that Russel Brand was in it and he was so rich but he gave his family a bad name because he was always drunk. It sounded good so I decided to watch it for a while to see if I like it. The movie was absolutely brilliant and I loved it. It was funny and sad at some parts but I feel in love with the film.

We took the scenic route and then we got lost but then we eventually got there. Me and my mam went into Penny's an my dad and Dean went somewhere else while me and my mam were shopping. We got the black shoes and they were really comfy and they would go with my black and white dress I was wearing to Brian's BBQ. They were only 3euro so my mam got them for me.
I found a perfume that I wanted to get for Amanda for her birthday. I thought if I got her this and something else she would be happy, my mam bought that as well. I was really grateful because my mam always buys me lovely things and thinks of me when she is in town on her own.
After we got what we came here to get, I spotted a rack of tops that were from 3euro to 5euro and I really liked some of them. I ended up getting a multicoloured one that was 4euro and a pair of fuschia pink keds that were 4 euro as well.

June 7th 2012
Today I had to go to the dentist which is always a joy O.o My appointment was for 10:15am so when we walked my brother to school me and my mam walked down to the village to get the bus but it was lashing rain which was even worse. Because there is no shelter at the bus stop outside Xtra Vision, me and my mam went under a tunnel which leads to Xtra Visions car park. Soon after we were standing there other people were copying us and about 30 minutes later the bus came. There wasn't too many people on it, me and my mam just sat at the back. My mam had promised me that after the dentist, we would go into town to go shopping, so that was something to look forward to.
It took so long to get into town on the bus because there was so many cars on the road due tot he rain and there was cars in the bus lane where they shouldn't have been and there was just so much traffic. When we finally got to Houston Train station there was a LUAS at the stop which we missed. We had to wait another 10 minutes for another one and when we got on it we were on our way to St. James's hospital. When we got into the orthodontist waiting room there wasn't many people waiting so we thought we would be in and out soon. Not the case, because I was 10 minutes late for my appointment due to the traffic, I was pushed back 1 hour which was crazy. My phone rang and it was my dad who tried calling my mam's phone but she left it at home. My dad was called to my brother's school because Dean was sick.
We couldn't do anything because I hadn't even been seen to yet. When I eventually did get called, my surgeon Dr. O Sullivan took off the wires on my braces and put on new ones and she took off the spiral wires and told me how my brushing is still not "up to scratch". I told her that I went to see the hygienist and got an electric toothbrush and she told me to bring in my toothbrush for the next appointment in August to show her how I brush my teeth. When I was finished my mam was on my phone to my dad and my dad was going to put Dean in the car and drive to the Red Cow LUAS stop and we would meet them there and go home.
I was disappointed that me and my mam didn't get to go into town to go get my shoes that she was going to buy me and go buy Amanda a birthday present for her 17th on the 20th of June. When me and my mam got off the LUAS we were about 5 minutes waiting on my dad and then when he arrived , me and my mam just hopped in the back of the car. My brother just said that he felt sick and his teacher said that he was as white as a ghost. My dad just said that he was stressed about all of money problems that were going on in my house at the moment.
We drove home and my dad had to go back to work so he went back and my mam said that me and her would go to Blanchardstown tomorrow night on Friday so I was happy.
It took so long to get into town on the bus because there was so many cars on the road due tot he rain and there was cars in the bus lane where they shouldn't have been and there was just so much traffic. When we finally got to Houston Train station there was a LUAS at the stop which we missed. We had to wait another 10 minutes for another one and when we got on it we were on our way to St. James's hospital. When we got into the orthodontist waiting room there wasn't many people waiting so we thought we would be in and out soon. Not the case, because I was 10 minutes late for my appointment due to the traffic, I was pushed back 1 hour which was crazy. My phone rang and it was my dad who tried calling my mam's phone but she left it at home. My dad was called to my brother's school because Dean was sick.
We couldn't do anything because I hadn't even been seen to yet. When I eventually did get called, my surgeon Dr. O Sullivan took off the wires on my braces and put on new ones and she took off the spiral wires and told me how my brushing is still not "up to scratch". I told her that I went to see the hygienist and got an electric toothbrush and she told me to bring in my toothbrush for the next appointment in August to show her how I brush my teeth. When I was finished my mam was on my phone to my dad and my dad was going to put Dean in the car and drive to the Red Cow LUAS stop and we would meet them there and go home.
I was disappointed that me and my mam didn't get to go into town to go get my shoes that she was going to buy me and go buy Amanda a birthday present for her 17th on the 20th of June. When me and my mam got off the LUAS we were about 5 minutes waiting on my dad and then when he arrived , me and my mam just hopped in the back of the car. My brother just said that he felt sick and his teacher said that he was as white as a ghost. My dad just said that he was stressed about all of money problems that were going on in my house at the moment.
We drove home and my dad had to go back to work so he went back and my mam said that me and her would go to Blanchardstown tomorrow night on Friday so I was happy.

Today Brian had his eye test, because he is doing his Theory Test on the 13th of June. I was texting him from about 2pm to about 4pm to see how he was getting on. He told me that he failed his test and had to redo it in an hours time. He then told that he failed a second eye test and had to redo it next week. I couldn't really understand how you could fail an eye test but e assured me that it was harder than it looked. He seemed really excited about getting his provisional licence. I was excited for him but I was also jealous because he would be driving before me.
I saw him afterwards and we just went to the playground for a while and then we went to his house. His house is now like my second house because I am always there. :P
Me and Brian sat on the bench and tucked into the M&M's and the man was sort of talking to the children a bit loud as if he wanted us to hear the conversation, he was smoking in front of the children, which I think is so bad, and he was drinking and he kept looking at us. The little girl who looked about 7 or 8 years old asked the man what was he drinking and he looked at us and said "Dirty drink" and then the little girl said "I know, but what type?" and the man shouted "Whiskey". Me and Brian got really uncomfortable and just left.

On Tuesday, it was such a nice day out and I really wanted to go out. Brian came down to knock for me and then we walked down towards the village because we were going to go for a walk over the bridge. We walked for about 5 minutes over the bridge and we sat on a wall for about 30 minutes because the sun was beaming down. We got bored after a while so we headed back towards Tesco, Brian bought me a big bag of M&M's and a drink and then we walked to the playground. After a while we left to go back to Tesco and then after a while we walked up to Brian's house and stayed there until my dad collected me at 11pm.

Today was supposed to be the day that me and Brian would be hanging out with his friend Jamie Thunder who was coming down to Celbridge for a couple of hours because he lives in Clane. Anyway the plan didn't go ahead because I felt bad about ditching Amanda and Brian couldn't go out anyway because he had to go visit his Grand-dad (his mam's dad). I rang Jamie Thunder and told him that the plan was off and to do it some other time, he was okay with it and then I tried to make it up with Amanda but she wasn't having any of it. I offered to get my other friends and call for her later.
It was lovely day out and I wanted go out so I texted people and asked them to come out. I asked Rachel and then Kirsten and they said they were up for it. I told Rachel I would meet her at the top of her estate and then we would meet up with Kirsten on the bridge. When I left my house and I was running late I met Rachel at Scoil Na Mainistreach and then we walked down to the village and we were meant to meet Kirsten at the bridge but we decided to go to her apartment to surprise her. We walked for about 40 minutes and we walked through Wolstan's Abbey and out the other side and I found out she lived above Tesco Express which is so cool :)
When we got there, we stood in a really weird way hoping that when she answered the door, she would laugh but it was her mam that opened the door. We all laughed and she directed us to Kirsten's room, Kirsten was surprised and we all just started laughing. We hung out in Kirsten's bedroom for a while, whuke she got ready and I saw her little dog. Awwwwh he is so cute, his name is Muffy and he is only 4 months old and he was so alert when I was there wanted to play with us. He hoped up on her bed where I was sitting and he peed on my leg. I didn't mind because he was just excited. When Kirsten was getting ready me and Rachel start taking pictures and then about 15 minutes later we left. We planned to go to my house because my family were gone to Dun Laoghaire for the day. It was a really long walk back to by house but we didn't really mind. We dropped into Katie's house to talk to her for a few minutes. She was doing her Junior Certificate this week and next week and we wanted her to have a break and come over to my house for an hour. Her dad said that he would drive her to my house in about 1 hour's time. So we were happy and walked up to Amanda's house to see if she wanted to come over my house with us but she said she wasn't allowed out because she was sick so we just we went to my house.
When we got there we just went on the internet for a while looking a different websites and then about 40 minutes Katie arrived at my house. It was a nice day out and after a few hours I put on some food. There was pizza, chips and chicken nuggets. There was plenty and we ate the food and then we started taking pictures and we put on some music to liven the mood. We took what seemed to be hundreds of pictures and it was really nice and hot and I was having a good time and my friends were having a good time. I was happy and the pictures were getting more crazy because coming to about 6pm me and Kirsten climbed out my brother's bedroom window onto my kitchens roof to take pictures. We were all laughing and the only sad thing was that Amanda wasn't here to share the happy day with us. Ahh well there will be plenty more where that came from.

Today I didn't really want to go out anywhere because I wasn't really feeling well. I decided to go on the internet and talk to people, I texted Brian online asking him did he want to on Facebook but he said he was going to the Driving Range in Celbridge with his brother so I let them have a good boys day out :P
My family were gone for a drive and ended up going to Trim Castle for the day. They left at about 2pm and came home at about 5 or 6pm and I was happy that I had the house to myself so I stayed on the Internet but I did hoover the whole house and did a bit of ironing, so when the family came home they couldn't say I did nothing all day.
Brian said that he wanted to hang out with his friends on Sunday because he hadn't hanged out with them for a while because of the exams, so I let him have fun with his friends for a change. We made plans to go out on Monday with his friend from school; Jamie Thunder. I forgot that I had already made plans with Amanda to go out on Monday and then she got really annoyed at me that I got the days mixed up, so she told me to go and have fun with the lads, but I felt like I betrayed her so I tried to make it up to her but she wouldn't listen. :(

Saturday was officially the first day of my Summer Holidays and I really wanted to have fun. I said to myself that between hanging out with my friends and hanging out with Brian this would be a really good summer. Brian said he was getting his hair cut today and asked if I wanted go with him and then we could hang out afterwards, I said I didn't mind so I met up with Brian at 2.30 outside Scoil Na Mainistreach and then we walked down St. Patrick's Park together and down to the barbers beside the Church in the village, where my brother gets his hair cut. The woman who has cut my brothers hair for 11 years, cut Brian's hair and I didn't realize how much hair Brian had because there was loads of it on the floor.
After he was finished and then we headed up to Brian's house and we were watching television and then Brian's mam suggested that we get a movie out of Xtra Vision, so we decided to walk down to the village and get a movie. When we were walking down it was raining so Brian held an umbrella over us and I told Brian about the movie deals and he said that that sounded interesting and that we should have a look. We ended up getting 2 movies for 2 nights, a medium size popcorn and 1 liter of coca cola. The two movies we got were Paranormal Activity 3 and Mardi Gra Spring Break. Brian said that it was his way of treating me to a good night. It only came to 11euro but when we came outside it wasn't raining anymore, so Brian was carrying the umbrella and the bottle of coca cola and I was holding the movies and the box of popcorn and when we got back to Brian's house my feet were killing me and I just wanted to rest because I walked to and from the village twice in the one day and I was tired.
We were arguing what movie to watch first but we agreed on Paranormal Activity 3. We sat down, started digging into the popcorn and glued our eyes to the screen which was a bad idea because 5 minutes into the movie and we both were freaked out. Someone told me that it wasn't a very scary movie!
IT WAS TERRIFYING!!!
Brian's mam even came in to see what we were watching and she just said "Good luck" . Brian's mam had ordered a Chinese and she got food for me as well which was really nice, so even when Brian went into the kitchen to get the food, I had to go with him because I was so scared to stay on my own in case the door closed by itself or the television turned off by itself.
There was so much food on the plate and then we went back into the death zone to continue watching the movie. Me and Brian started milling the food due to being scared :L

I was really enjoying myself and so was Brian and when the movie was over we put on Mardi Gra Spring Break which I knew was going to be better than the horror movie we watched before. I thought that it was better to watch a horror movie first and then have a nice movie afterwards to make you forget the scary one. Within the first 20 minutes of watching the movie there was a girl flashing her boobs and I just looked at Brian who looked Starstruck and said "Put your tongue back in mouth please", we both laughed and then ate the rest of the food. I was certainly stuffed and we both just relaxed for the rest of the night and when the movie was over, we switched to listening to music on the television. I had a really good time and I'm glad that Brian did too. At 11pm Brian's mam drove me home because it was very late for me to walk home.

Today was the first day of June, my last day of my exams and my last day in school. I was so pleased that I was on such a buzz on Friday and I just wanted to get my exams over-with and go out because it was the start of SUMMER!!!!!!
I would be finished my exams at 12.35 because everyone only had 2 exams on Friday which was nice because they let us off really to begin enjoying our summer. I had Maths from 9.15 - 10.45 and I made sure I had my calculator and pencils with me because I wasn't going to write in pen because I think that's just a bad habit. The exam turned out to be okay but there was some things that I honestly didn't understand.
My last exam was my English exam and I wasn't really worried about it because you just do comprehensions and write stories so I found the exam okay and went really well. When we were finished there was a loud cheer and everybody started clapping because school was over. I headed off because Brian was walking me home and he said he would be at the traffic lights but when I went there he wasn't there. So I thought maybe he forgot that he was walking me home. I walked over to his house and he looked at me with a forgetful face and he said he forgot, I didn't mind and he got ready to walk me home then we left. I waited outside while he locked up and his dad was there and when I told him that Brian forgot, he laughed at Brian.
Brian had to go to the hospital for his teeth straight after he walked me home so he just said that he would text me when he's home and then he would knock for me. I went into my house at no one was home but then I realized that my brother was still at school and my mam was out doing the shopping. Brian cam over and collected me and we just went out and then I think afterwards when we got a little bored we went into Brian's house and went on the computer listening to songs for the rest of the night.

I was now halfway through my exams. Today I had a free period so I decided to go over my Irish and I just was not understanding it at all so I decided to rest my head on the table on the table for a while and before I knew it time was up so it was break time now, which was only 20 minutes and then we were going to have our Religion exam. I didn't mind Religion because you couldn't really study anything on it, I thought Religion is just asking you what is your view on different topics.
Religion was easy but I didn't get 1 Question which I didn't have a clue what it was asking so I just left it but the rest of the exam went along fine and I got all my exams so far finished on time which I am happy with. When I had my Irish exam from 1.20 - 2.50 it was hard because I don't like Irish at all because I think it's such a hard language to learn and whenever I learn something it just doesn't stick in my head. Ah well I did my best in all my exams so far so I'll just have to see how I did when my results are sent to my house over the Summer Holidays.

Wednesday was the second day of my exams and I was a lot more calm about them. For the rest of the week I would be in the Hall which I wasn't happy about because the Hall is freezing all the time. My first exam was Biology which I was feeling okay about because I revised it really well. The exam went really well and I knew my experiments which I was really happy with. After that I then had a free period from 11.05 - 12.35 so I just looked over my Spanish book. My Spanish exam was from 1.20 - 2.50 and that went sort of okay because there was mostly comprehensions and then on the last page I had to do a letter, a diary entry and questions and I found them to be quite easy but I'll just have to wait for my results to be given back to me in the Summer.

Today was the first day of my exams. I was feeling alright about my exams and was trying not to think too much about them because they were only summer exams. On Tuesday I had Geography and Home Economics so I brought them books with me to school but I had a study period first because I didn't do L.C.V.P. ME and my friends went to the library to study and then when we had break we went to the room which we were in for our next exam.
I had Geography from 11.05 - 12.35 and this was the exam that I was mostly worried about because I knew it was going to be hard. All of the questions were either 20 mark or 30 mark questions so I just wrote everything I knew about the topics. I was in Room 21 for Geography which was nice because it's a very nice and comfortable room.
For Home Economics I was in Room 20 which was nice as well because it's better than being in the hall which is usually freezing. My Home Economics went on from 1.20 - 2.50 and it was easier than my Geography and I knew my stuff on this exam. I was sitting beside Amanda but she didn't have to do any of the exams because she broke her wrist a couple of days ago, so she had to come into school to study. She broke her wrist just at the right time :L

Today was our last day of school. The day was most compiled of teachers telling us some last minute tips for our exams and explaining things to us and just letting us study and if we had a question with anything we would ask them. The day went by really fast and everyone didn't really have a care in the world despite our exams being tomorrow. There was something to look forward to though. Our English teacher; Ms. Mc'Hale who is also our tutor had promised us a party.
When it was time for English, Ms. Mc'Hale brought in a chocolate cake, a nutty cake, which she made the night before, drinks and crisps, some of the girls brought in sweets and we just put all the food on the table and ate it all :L
It was much better than correcting homework or going over quotes like we would've been doing. It was a good way to end the school year.

Today was a family day out. It was the Christening of my new baby cousin, Blake Tait. A couple of weeks my mam asked me if I wanted to Brian to go ad I thought he'd like to, so he was coming too. I was really looking forward to it because he would be able to meet my family. I got ready and I made sure my hair and make-up were really nice. I was wearing my purple dress with purple heels and I had a bit of tan on me because I am so pale, I hate it especially when it's summer. Anyway when we were all ready we went up to collect Brian and bring him with us. He looked really nice wearing a white shirt and his caramel coloured chinos. When he got into the car he whispered in my ear "You look beautiful" I was flattered because he is so sweet to me. I love him to bits <3
We arrived at the venue in Clondalkin, Boomers Pub. There was a room upstairs that we were shown to, it was beautiful. There was the bar to the right and a stage in front with presents and a cake, we recognized a few faces and Brian was so nervous because he didn't know anyone so he stayed at my side. We went over to my cousin Lyndsay, the mother of Blake and we gave her the present we got for Blake. We got a bear from the bear factory which we called it Blake too, it was soft and fluffy and we thought he would love it. My uncle asked who Brian was and my dad said "Her fella" pointing at me, my uncle then shook Brian's hand and said "Good on ye" Brian was looking at me and I was trying to hold in my laughter.

We sat at a table in the middle of the floor beside Trisha and Ian and John and Delores. Ian and Trisha's baby Chloe was there, last time I saw her She was about 1 and when I saw her now she was now 3 so she had changed a lot. Me and Brian started chatting away because I knew he felt on his own. My dad asked us did we want an alcohol drink. Brian got a pint of Budweiser and I got a bottle of Budweiser. There was also food and my mam put loads on a plate for me and Brian, there was sausages, wedges, chicken goujons and chicken pieces on a bone. It was so hot upstairs so me and Brian kept going outside to get some air and we went to the shops that were over the other side of the car park.
Every now and then we came back to chat with my family again and we ate some more food, and then I got to hold my other new cousin. Trisha and Ian's second baby was born 8 weeks ago and she was so cute. Her name was Holly. She was so light and small, I couldn't believe that she had little nails, eyebrows and eyelashes. My dad took a picture of me and Brian with me holding her.
After being there for almost 4 hours we decided to make a move as my mam calls it. We went over to where Blake was and he was in his pram wearing nothing but a nappy like a BOSS!! Even though I didn't get to hold him, I didn't mind because he was burning up so that's why he wasn't wearing any clothes. He looked beautiful and he was there chewing away on his on fist like you do. We said our goodbyes and headed home. Brian wanted to go back home with us so when we got back, we sat out the back for a while and then me and Brian went inside to watch a bit of television and then we watched this thing with my family. It was like all celebrities play football for a charity. It was good and the day was a success.

Today was the Eurovision Final. This year's Eurovision was being held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Representing Ireland once again was Jedward. I personally don't like Jedward because they are too childish but they're funny. Every year me and my family watch the Eurovision and bet who we think will win and whoever wins gets the money. This year would be different though because my mam and dad were going to a party, so it would be just me and Dean but he would've just been upstairs and I wanted to go out to Brian. So I asked Brian did he want to come over to my house to watch it with me and he said he would like to. I was pleased because it would've been fun watching it with him.
Earlier on during the day I was in Brian's just hanging out and his dad was at work and his mam was next door in Alex Condon house with his mother sunbathing out the back garden. Me and Brian watched some television and then when his mam returned into the house she suggested watching some of Brian's baby videos. I was looking forward to it because last week Brian saw mine so it was payback time :L We watched a lot of when he was about 2 or 3 and he was so cute. I thought it was funny when Brian's mam said "Brian's there's you!" and then straight afterwards she would say "Oh wait, no that's Alan, Sorry" I thought that was funny and I kept laughing everytime she said it.
Coming up to about 6pm I said to Brian that I had to be home for 7:30 because that's when my parents were leaving. Brian wanted to get his dinner first so after his mam gave him money we left to walk down to the village to get Brian some food. We went into Macari's and Brian ordered his food. He got a bag of chips and a quarter pounder, I think :L We then went into Spar opposite the bridge and got some other food and drinks, I got a bag of Cadbury's twirls for the party. When we were sure we had enough food we headed for my house, we arrived at my house at like 7:29 but my parents didn't leave until like 7:40 so we were grand. We sat out the back for like 30 minutes eating the chips and Brian was there munching his way through the quarter pounder. My parents came into us when they were leaving and said goodbye and said "Have Fun!". After we were finished eating we went inside at about 8:10 and got ready to watch the Eurovision.
We pulled down the blinds, turned the fan on high because we were roasting, we put on the television and had all of the food, we got and that my mam got for us, laid out on the table. Even though it started at 8pm, we didn't care because that's what's great about Sky+, we forwarded the programme to where the countries began to start singing. I did call Dean but he said he wanted to watch it upstairs because he was cleaning his room. Brian said his mam was collecting him at 11:30 when the Eurovision was over and we were both thrilled because he was staying with me even longer. The Eurovision was good and some countries were really good and had a good beat to it but some countries were terrible. Me and Brian were having a really good time singing along and dancing and eating food, it truly was a good night and then when Jedward came on we were cheering them on and I was singing their song, because I think it's a real catchy tune and I thought they would do really well in the competition. When it was coming up to about 10pm we were both roasting and we had to go outside. We stayed outside for about 10 minutes an then when we went back inside Brian took his shirt off and just sat in front of the fan for ages. After a while he was starting to cool down because it was coming into the late night. We ate most of the food and then when the results came on we had our eyes glued to the screen. We were hoping Ireland would come in the top 5. In the end Sweden won with their song "Euphoria" Have a look at the song that made them the winners of the Eurovision 2012.

Last year Jedward cam 8th in the Eurovision, this year they came 19th. Maybe the will get the picture for next year if they try to represent us again. At least we didn't come last and all Ireland wants to do is get higher than The United Kingdom. We certainly did that because they came 2nd last. This was their song by Engelbert Humperdinck :L
