On Friday we had our end of year service so the whole school goes to the hall for about 1 hour and there's some reading and people just wishing us a happy summer and things like that. I like going to things like this in school because it gets us out of being in class. The rest of the day went by okay and I was happy that another weekend was here. Like I always do, I went out after school. I hung out with Brian for the night. I love hanging out with him because he is now a friend as well as a boyfriend. He makes me laugh like all the time and I have fun with him and even when we're not talking walking down the street we both just burst out laughing like we know what each other is thinking.

Nothing really happened on Thursday in school apart from teachers telling us what would be on our exams. If I'm being honest I didn't study at all for the exams because I just didn't really get around to doing it and it was only the summer exams, they didn't really mean anything but I definitely am going to study next year for all the exams.

Today there was a few things going on in school. Now that we're coming to the end of another school year, it's that time of year again, In House Awards. I don't really care about them to be honest because I never get one so I wasn't surprised to find that I didn't get one this year. So there was the awards and then the plaques were given to Bebhinn Cullen and Saidhbh Houlihan for Music and Art. Everybody clapped and cheered as Bebhinn received the plaque because she is an amazing drummer and plays the drums at the school services like at Christmas and End of School services. I remember the last Christmas service, there was people singing "Do they know it's Christmas?" by Band Aid and Bebhinn was playing the drums and it made everybody stand up to see who was playing them.
I've known Bebhinn for over 12 years and for as long as I can remember she has been playing the drums. I remember being in her house once and the drums were so loud I was wondering did her neighbours complain, but she's really good on them maybe that's why they didn't complain.
I had my Spanish oral today and I was really nervous because I wasn't really familiar with what I was being asked on. We were being tested on our Role plays and I had spent too much time looking at the 1st one which was the easiest and I was hoping that she would ask me about that one. To my relief she did ask me that one, I was pleased because I aced it :L Ms. Farrell told me that I was really good at the Role Plays and that I was getting full marks for it but she did say that I needed to be careful with my conversation about my family and my house. I took that on board and was pleased when it was over.
I was in Irish and I was studying my Sraith Pictiúir and I thought I didn't have to do my Irish oral until Thursday or Friday because on the attendance sheet, my name is near to the bottom so I thought there was loads of people before me until MS. O'Connell called my name. I looked at her confused and then she hand signaled me to come up to her desk. I was scared because I honestly did not know this at all. The worst part was that we had a choice out 3 pages and there was only 1 easy one and I had to pick the hardest one didn't I. She gave me a minute to look at the sheet, like that would help me.
I got through it anyway and she said I had average skills of talking in Irish, I was happy with myself because I don't like Irish at all. It's not that I don't like it I just think it is so hard to learn.

Today was Sports Day in our school. We were allowed to wear our P.E. uniform to school and we had classes up until 12pm and then we had lunch at 12:00 untill 12:40 pm. During lunch everyone went out to the banks. There was a great atmosphere and everybody seemed very happy and it was sunny and the music was blaring. Me and Rachel, Katie and all of our friends found a spot on the top of the banks and we had a perfect view of all the activities that would be taking place at Sports Day. We decided that would go over to the speakers where the music was so loud and we were jumping up and down and singing and dancing.
I was having such a good time and everyone was enjoying themselves and all the teachers were out with us as well. It was really hot and you wouldn't think it because it was cloudy but it was like having a hot hairdryer blowing in your face for the whole day. I went over to the tables that were selling food and drink. I got a bottle of coke and a bag of Haribo. Me and my friends didn't really want to take part in any of the activities, we would rather look at other people do them and just go around having fun, taking pictures and messing.
It's always better when the teachers take part as well. For the first time ever the teachers took part in the three-legged-race and all I can say is that they really went for it.

Also every year the teachers play rounders with the 6th years. I guess you could call it a St. Wolstan's tradition because they do it every year. Everybody goes down to the furthest pitch and sits down and cheers on the teachers. It's always so funny because the teachers really go for it and it's just really funny to see your teachers letting their hair down for a change.
Here's some pictures that were captured on Sports Day.

On Monday nothing really happened in school. Over the past few days in English we have been looking at Casablanca for our comparative studies. The movie is in black and white so it must be really old. It seems like a good movie so far and we have gotten sheets off our teacher Ms. Mc'Hale which have questions for us to do so while the movie is on in class I usually take notes about what happens and then I can do my homework easier. Over the summer me and Amanda have decided to buy a copy of Casablanca so we can watch it a few times in full over the summer to become more aware of what happens in the movie so we will find it easy next year to answer questions. I don't know where you would get a copy of the movie because it's so old, Xtra Vision I suppose.

Today me and Brian just went out for a while which is what we usually do but Celbridge is so boring. There is actually nothing to do for teenagers so me and Brian just go for walks and hang out at Spar or at Tesco. We usually get bored after a while and just go into one of our houses. I made the decision that we go to my house, so when we got there we were just watching the television and then my mam wanted to put on baby videos. Brian said he wanted to see them so I didn't really mind. All of my baby videos I act so weird and I do weird things and Brian couldn't stop laughing.
We watched my parent's wedding where I stole the show, shouting at them when they were on the altar taking their vows and singing at the reception. We were all laughing and I was happy to see my family laughing and getting on with Brian and he really feels like part of the family now. I can't really imagine my life without him now. <3

Today was me and Brian's anniversary. We are now going out 7 months. I feels longer but I fell so happy and blessed because it is my first ever relationship and it's Brian's longest relationship so that must mean something. I wanted to do something special but neither me or Brian had money, so I decided to have a nice dinner in my house. After that we would both go into the hot tub for a while and listen to music. I thought it would be a nice idea to mark our relationship.
I told Brian to come over my house at about 6pm. My mam had gone out and bought 2 fillets of steak. She offered to make our meal and serve it as if we were in a restaurant, I thought it was a cute idea. I offered to help my mam to prepare the meal. I got the table ready in my dining room, but putting a red table cloth on it with red napkins rolled with gold holders around them, I put 2 yellow candles on the table and lit them and turned off the lights. I then started to put knives, fork and glasses on the table. I then went up to start getting ready and I already knew what I was going to wear. I wore black tights, a nice plain black strapless dress, black fancy jacket with a sparkly button and purple heels. I made sure my hair was nice an my make-up was good and that I smelled nice and went back downstairs to finish helping my mam with the dinner. Brian rang the doorbell and I freaked out, I answered the door and then brought him into the dining room and he was shocked that I made a huge effort to make the night special. He said I looked beautiful and then we talked for about 10 minutes and then my mam brought in the dinner.
I had a fillet of steak, chips and pepper sauce poured all over the plate and Brian had the same but my mam was nice and gave him 2 fillets. There was plenty of food and there was also garlic bread and onion rings but I don't like onion rings so Brian ate them. He seemed to be enjoying himself and we were talking and all I could think about was why couldn't we be older and this was a real date in a fancy restaurant. I was finished before Brian and then after we stayed at the table for a few minutes and then we started to get ready to go up to the hot tub. Brian got ready in the downstairs bathroom and I got ready upstairs and when I cam down he was in the dining room waiting for me. We both went up to the cabin and my whole family were there and they were saying how they were getting in with me and Brian. I knew it was a joke and then they left.
When we got into the hot tub, we just relaxed for hours and listened to music. Brian seemed to enjoy himself but after about 2 hours of being in the hot tub we both had enough. He had to get out anyway because his mam was collecting him at 10:30. I really hoped he had a good time and I had a good time and it was a good way of marking the occasion. Can't wait to see what he's doing for me for our 1 year anniversary :L
